Lowes
No longer a custome

I am a woman do-it-yourselfer who undertakes major projects. I was buying my supplies from Lowes. But no more! One day I stood at the wire cutting area for 45 minutes (I intentionally timed it) for someone to measure and cut the wire for me. Several employees walked past my isle and looked down and saw me standing there. But not one offered to help. My husband came looking for me and finally went and brought over a young man from another department. I told him that had I been walking around with a penis, I would have been waited on right away. Yesterday just reinforced that in my mind. I was buying tile and other supplies.in one department I stood with list in hand, looking for a particular item. An employee came up the isle and walked right past me to go wait on a man further up the isle.in other departments an employee occasionally looked my way but with no offer of helping. I put all the tile back as well as the other items and walked out. I will take my money to Home Depot where I am treated not as someone invisible as I am in Lowes, but with respect.
