KICKBACKS FOR SOMEBODY AT LOWES - carpet and tile & contractors at lowes

We went to lowes to purchasing carpet and tile for a 2 bdrm condo. We bought carpet for the living rm and dining area L-shaped & 2 bdrms. Decided to put ceramic tile in kitchen, small hall outside kitchen, and a bath and a half. A contractor which we had to pay 35 dollars for came out measured all the rooms (just threw out the measuring tape for his measures) Well we had to call for the quote 3 wks passed no word. Finally he called on that sat of the wk we called. Gave a quote for the tile - Tile cost $150.00 total cost to put in just the Tile - GET THIS! $ 2400.00. Said we needed a sub floor 170.00 -labor is the rest *JUST FOR THE TILE! Of course he only works with the tile not the Carpet. We went to the store talked the manager of that dep't -he only works there? He said oh - did you find out how much the carpet was it was $1100- add $ 1100 2400= I don't think so. We asked for a manager or a representative -they called 2 more wks later wanting to know why we haven't paid.
