HD DVR Box Is a piece of crap and they won't replace it

I have been with Directv for 9 years and I have the biggest and most expensive package with 2 HD DVR boxes and I pay 177 bucks a month and I can't get them to give me a new box to replace the piece of crap that they gave me. They used to be great and now they suck. I have called and emailed them and they are not interested I keeping me happy and keeping me as a customer. I even told them that I would pay for a new box because the one I have doesn't work properly and they said that my only option was to buy their newest boxes for 399! Wtf?
