Defective TV

Sony Bravia 40" LCD is garbage. Sony just provides 2-year warranty on the LCD TVs since the display/control goes negative after three years. Other LCD suppliers provide three years along with 12 months with purchase (4 years overall). Grievances to Sony Customer Service led to their quality of providing me another forty" LCD at retail. I purchased Sony due to their previous quality. Well, the past is previous, do not purchase Sony if you don't wish to spend a lot of to get a temporary item. They've an excellent image however it does not last long, you shouldn't be confused. Prevent SONY if you don't have a lot of money.
