Billing problem

In I got a bill that said I had
charged $345 worth of porn. I wasn't
even home at the time they billed me
for. I was taking care of a terminally
ill family member. After a couple yrs

Of letter writing, refusing to pay this
bill, Direct TV attorney decided not to
pursue it and said he was sending the
credit bureaus notification to remove it
from my credit report. Now in it
is beginning all over again EXCEPT they
sold it to a collector. I kept all the
paperwork for quite a while thinking it
was all over but here we go again and I
can't even complain until it is oofficially put on my credit report.
Is there anyway for Experian to have the
record of when it was removed a couple
years ago. Thanks
