Cox communications recently rolled out their new wireless telephone service in my area. I was quoted a price by 2 different Cox employees as to what my monthly charge would be. One on the phone, the other in their store. The salesman assured me the rate of $149.99 is what I would be getting.

2 days after my 30 day grace period was up, I was notified that the actual monthly charge would be $169.99 and that I was the one who had made the mistake.

After 3 hours, and 5 different people, they refuse to honor the original price. Cox has my cable, my internet and my home phone. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I dropped AT&T after 15 years, because Cox has always been fair and treated me with great service. I feel as though I was tricked.

I know it's only $20 a month, but I would not have switched if I had known that. I am being told by Cox that there is nothing at all they can do. One rep was so rude, he actually told me this was all my fault and he didn't know why he should even try and help me!

I just wanted Cox to honor the price I was guaranteed by the salesperson that I purchased the phone from.
