I've been a DirecTV client for more than 20 years, but won't stay one for longer than I should. I'm acutely furious using the organization, the methods, as well as their "client insult" people. They promote that by having an HD-DVR and high speed web connection, the client may have use of several films and exhibits at NO ADDITONAL CHARGE. Their site suggests this in no uncertain conditions. Therefore, I bought the DVR and wireless adapter simply to discover that it's NOT at no extra cost. I've discovered these films and exhibits are, actually, pay stations' on demand providers. (HBO ondemand, Starz on demand, etc.), which until I donate to these pay stations I can't access the films and exhibits. THIS REALLY IS an additional cost. I approached their "client insult" people and was informed that it's "good sense" these films and exhibits are now actually pay stations on demand. I wonder how I Have managed to get through my 54 years of existence without any good sense? Time Warner, below I come! Our demand to come back for reimbursement the equipment that I'd bought to gain access to "Theatre" was refused. I'd not suggest DirecTV to anybody.
