Delay setting up service

I recently moved my office from the 9th floor (Ste 950) of 100 Wilshire Santa Monica, CA 90401 to the 19th floor suite 1845. Our new numbers are to be 310 260-9060-9064. Service was to be install on June 7. I preferred Verizon for the complete install because in the past when service went out, Verizon blamed the private installer in the building and the private installer blamed Verizon. I want' Verizon to assume full responsibility, and our contract with Verizon so provided.

When the installer from Verizon arived he simply attached the lines to the building and made no attempt to do anyting else. He failed to even ask the building if he could complete the installation and he failed to contact my staff so that the service could be provided. I am now without phone service with no end in signt.

I was formerly the City Attorney of Santa Monica, when business owners in mass complained about the poor phone service to business and residential customers. The City Counsel passed a resolution condemning the poor service, and GTE was denied rate increases as a result.

I have read some of the complaints on line concerning service. I don't know whether Verizon's personnel is poorly trained or misdirected. What I want is telephone and internet service now without delay. I also want Verizon to be successful, and the present inaction by Verizon will not get it there.
