$29.99 Deal Promised but Only Good for First 12 Months

I wanted only a very basic package. The salesperson promised me a $29.99/month deal and did not mention that it was only for the first 12 months. After my first bill, I called back, but they politely explained that I was not eligible for the credits and that they could only drop my monthly payment to $40/month.

After much haggling, two supervisors, and about three hours on the phone, I played back the conversation that I had recorded with the first salesperson. It took only a couple of minutes for them to give me more credits to drop the monthly bill to $35/month. This is still more than they promised, but I cannot justify more time haggling with them.
