Three Charges After Cancelling in First Week, Then Collections

Service was installed for less than a week when I called to cancel. I was told that they did not have a cancellation policy (like most companies, you are given a grace period, normally 10 days). They then charged my credit card a total of 219.61, 20.95, and 57.75 without my permission. My credit card company reversed the charges, and now I am being harassed by a collection company on a daily basis.
Something needs to be done about a company that falsifies its services. Reading about complaints online, it looks like I am not the only victim.
