I can not believe that you only have 24 hours to test Direct TV product before you can cancel it.

I got Direct because they advertise everywhere how good they are, which unfortunatley did not turn out to be true, COMCAST has a much better HD image, also Direct TV does not work properly every time it rains or snows.

Now, how's a customer suppose to know all this, unless they have the service, COMCAST and Verizon have a 30 days grace/trial period where you can cancel your service free of charge if you are not satisfied with their product. I called Direct TV after 3 days of having the service beacuse I wasn't satisfied, and I was very angry to find out that I only had 24 hours to cancel the service, so now I'm stuck with them unless I pay a cancellation fee of $480 for only 3 days of service that I wasn't satisfied with.

All companies should have a trial/grace period to cancel services I was naive to think Direct TV had that 30 days period just as COMCAST and Verizon do.

SO PLEASE NEW ENGLANDERS DO NOT EVER GET DIRECT TV because they do not stand behind their product, if you came home from work and only had a few minutes of TV, not enough to realize you are not satisfied with their product, then you are in trouble because Direct TV does not care, you have to keep them for the 2 years, I've never heard of anything like it!!
