Unauthorized credit check though technician could not install dish

I live in a high rise building, DirectTV and I agreed to not do credit checks which lower your credit score, until they can proof they can place a satellite dish in my high rise apartment, they sent a technician out, he couldn't put dish in, but Direct TV did a unauthorized credit check any way, dropping my credit score for nothing, I DIDNT EVEN GIVE THEM MY SOCIAL SEC #!!! They can pull unauthorized credit checks just by your address. My advice is if you live in a building ask your manager first if satellite is possible, because DIRECT TV would lie and say anything and mess with your credit for nothing, other than that Direct TV has way better deals than Comcast!!!
