Direct TV Satellite Poor Customer Service, Dishonest Representatives WATCH OUT

NOTE TO ALL LANDLORDS:
When you allow a tenant to have their Direct TV Satellite Dish Installed on your roof you are creating a problem for yourself. Direct TV refuses to take their dishes off your roof even after the tenant leaves.

The dishonest part is when they came to install the one on our new roof for a tenant, they said they would remove it and properly plug the roof so it would never be a problem...

Well - Houston - we have a problem. Tenant left saying they cancelled the Direct TV and they would come and remove the dish and Direct TV refuses to remove the disk. They want us to hire someone to remove it... They say our tenant signed off on it and now we need to chase the tenant - LANDLORDS BEWARE OF DIRECT TV!

Needless to say, we will never allow Direct TV and now have this in our leases. We will be certain to communicate these things up front to everyone.
