Contract issuies - contract

While serving our country we were moved to a new post, as we were getting settled we called to have our dish put up. We found out that there was no service in our area and had to cancel the contract to still be charged 8 years later. We sent in a copy of the orders and they still want to tell us we are sorry but you still have to pay even though we will not honor our contract.
