Only wanted internet and Clear transferred me to Direct TV Why?

I talked to Clear about internet only and the Clear Representative transferred me to Direct TV. I don't know why she did that. I told the lady at DT that I didn't want cable and she kept pushing. I finally hung up. I was alerted that Direct TV was trying to check my credit. I didn't ask for cable. I won't be getting Direct TV. I'm not happy with Clear because I was transferred.
