I just got off the phone with Direct TV and I just wanted to air my complaint. I ordered Direct TV nearly a year ago and have two DVR's & remotes. One of the two has aways had a lag time and just has been a crappy remote. This week, the remote finally stopped working. Having been with other companies for cable, I remember with Comcast, you could go directly to a store and switch out a product with absoltuely no cost to you. WELL, that's NOT the case with Direct TV. I had to pay $15 for a new remote plus tax and was told that I should have called within the first 3 months. Unfortunately for me, I usually just make the best of any situation, and dealing with lag time was just something I rolled with. Guess the squeaky wheel gets the grease... I'm just upset with thier customer service in dealing with a loyal customer. Boo...
