Ridiculous practices - Awful Customer Service

My installation was scheduled for Dec. 26. The gentleman showed up and told me they'd call to reschedule due to inclement weather. I never got a call so I called and asked for earliest possible appointment and was told Dec. 29 between 8-12. On Dec. 29, I received a call at 11:00 that they needed to reschedule AGAIN! The earliest appointment being Jan. 2! After speaking with 5 different people, I was told I just had to wait! This was originally a Christmas gift to my children and now they can't even see the ball drop on NYE! I want to know why installations aren't performed on a first come, first served basis! This is just ridiculous to me
.. AND to everyone else I've told! I should've went with Dish Network. They could've installed on Dec. 24!
