Greyhound Bus
Never again Greyhound bus

Traveling & Tourism

Greyhound.com has the poorest customer service I've ever seen. My fiancee and me were planning to visit NYC for Christmas, so we decided to go by bus and bought two round-trip tickets online. Unfortunately, we had to cancel it due to health issues. But when we tried to cancel our tickets and get a refund (or a partial one), we discovered that most of the tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable (or you must pay a fee of 15$ per ticket if you want to and they finally allow it) and you only know about that when you print your own ticket, not before your purchase! Nothing during the purchase warns you about that terrible conditions. And if you try to contact them via email or phone, it is useless, because they will send you to your next Greyhound office (mine is 30 miles away). There they will say to you that there is nothing you can do in order to refund your ticket, maybe (and they said MAYBE) they would change it for another trip to same location BUT you will have to pay 15$ per trip.

Summing up: if you want a refund, forget it. If you want to change in advance the dates of your trip, and the price of your ticket was 30$, you will have to pay 15$ extra to change them.

Before using Greyhound again, next time I will rent a car. Cheaper, reliable and better customer service than this company.
