Spirit Incentives
Buyer beware

Traveling & Tourism

Buyer beware. I would recommend you really do your home work before you fall for this scam. We fell for the free cruise scam and it ended up costing us a lot more to book with them than if we had book it ourselves directly with the cruise line,
the reason is a booking and service fee they charge for being a travel agency which they do not disclose (They say you have to pay the cruise taxes at time of booking, but compare that amount to the taxes the cruise line charges directly and
you will see the difference). After you book the cruise with them you are stuck with the room they give you and if
something goes wrong with the cruise (Hurricane Sandy affected our trip) its your lost and your problem. Since we lost one day of cruising, Carnival cruise refunded one day of cruise and gratuity to passengers, but since we booked the trip
directly with Spirit we dont qualify for the refund, even though we had paid extra for an upgraded room.

They also explained that we had to pick 4 travel dates. After they called us to confirm our trip and select the departure date none of the original departure dates they gave us were available.

I recommend you go directly to the web page of the cruise line you want to travel on. You can pick any date you want, you can pick any room you want and if you have any problem you can deal directly with the cruise line. Spirit Incentives does not care about you as a customer especially if they want to make you think you are getting a free cruise. There practices are deceiving
and sneaky. A complaint with the BBB will follow.
