The Infamous 24 Hour Cancellation Rule Strikes Again

I booked a hotel room at 9 pm last night for tonight. I needed to cancel since the plans fell through. I expected a minor cancellation fee, but I was stuck with the entire room fee because I'm supposed to magically figure out how to cancel a reservation 24 hours in advance that I only made 9 hours ago! After conversations with the rep and the supervisor, I was met with a response of "Anything else?" in that snotty tone we all know and love.

Needless to say, Expedia and the hotel just lost a customer. I only hope this review prevents some people from making the same mistake.

Unbelievable.
