Orbitz car hire quote was so far out it was laughable

I booked a hire car through Orbitz for four days from Phoenix airport. The quote they gave me for Budget totalled $92 including taxes and fees. I booked it thinking this was a great price. I go to collect my car and the real total hit $248. Despite the reservation, Budget had no car in the mid size category so that bumped me up $9 a day. Admittedly I paid $42 to bring the car back empty. However take those extras off and it still only comes down to $197. A massive difference to the quote. I would have shopped around had I known. I feel I was duped. Worse thing is I use Orbitz ALL the time for business travel. Not any more.
