Do not use hotels.com. They are fraudulent company.

Booked online for a Vegas trip. Entered a promo code BOOKWORM for a free amazon kindle with my registration. The code was accepted and I was able to checkout. It said clearly that I will get a FREE amazon kindle. 2 weeks later, no email. 8 weeks later, no kindle. So I called them and they said sorry but the code is expired. Well sure it is, I entered it months ago and it went through fine so where's my kindle? They kept saying sorry but you won't be getting one over and over again.

Today I called again to see if they got my fax 2 weeks ago. I wanted them to see that the code did in fact go through and that I was promised a free kindle with my stay. They (the Philippian call center) does not have it not is it entered in their system. This is my proof and they do not have it. I have confirmation that the fax was sent to the right fax number successfully.
