Talked my just turned 19 yr old daughter into this scam, drained her checking and savings

Traveling & Tourism

On Feb 22 my daughter was called on her cell phone from these rude pushy people, She had turned 19, only 3 weeks before call. She was called by a smooth fast talking person who convinced her of the great cruise that when told she was a student told her what a great graduation trip this would be for her and 3 of her friends, went on to say FREE several times and for only a small amount to be placed on your credit card...

We have been fighting this all over again, she got a call last night 8/15 saying trip will expire next day, please verify her name address and card info, she ask about refund and man insisted he needed that info to find her account. Put her on hold came back and said her card would not take the 600.00 dollars to finish paying for trip. She said NO, did not approve any charges and only ask about refund, she was put on hold and transfered to another man who was very pushy, rude, and finally hung up on her.

We went to bank same night (last night) her entire checking and saving account were drained, called bank, filed dispute, cancelled card, and bank told us these people had made more than 5 attempts to charge her accounts. (all without approval.) I filed a BBB report today, still fighting.
