Caribbean Cruise Line
Celebration Cruise Line Cold hearted people took my money and won't give it back AFTER I found out its a scam

Traveling & Tourism

Ok I'm very frustrated that this happened to me. I'm finding many more people have fallen for this scam also... I got an automated call on my phone and after answering 3 questions I found out I was qualified for a free cruise. I should have just hung up but I've never been on a cruise before. I talked to probably 6 different sales people about the cruise and eventually got pushed into agreeing to a VIP package deal worth a lot more than I was going to pay.

*First* I got a 3 day 2 night cruise to the Caribbean. All I had to pay up front was the port taxes of $59.00 each person. Then he pulled out his VIP card and told me I was a lucky guy cause he only had a few of these special offers left. It included a bunch of great things like an extra 3 days in the Caribbean, free rental, buy 1 get 1 free air fair, hotel etc... For a small fee of $586.00... How does this go from 59.00 to 586.00???

After getting off the phone with the very aggressive salesman and being subjected to aggressive sales tactics, (they wouldn't let NO be an answer, I couldn't even call them back later and buy it if I wanted it, this was a 1 time offer) I immediately goggled Caribbean Cruise Line and found many websites giving great feedback on them, saying its a scam and totally a rip off. Some actually took the cruise and said the boat was a old Ferry boat and definitely not worth it. I wish I found and read this before I gave my CC number

I do NOT remember the guy saying its non-refundable but he could have said it... (I was on the phone for over an hour with many different people) perhaps my bank will help me... This is just a little info I found under Sellers of Travel Florida Statutes, it states The following: on page 9 of 16 559.933 Vacation certificate cancellation and refund provisions - It shall be unlawful for any seller of travel or assignee: To fail or refuse to honor a purchaser's vacation certificate request to cancel if such request is made.

Now, these guys never mentions this being a vacation certificate But perhaps it could help me. So, I don't know how I can go about this... This all sounded ok untill I got off the phone and realized I just gave them roughly 600.00 for a trip sometime in 2014. They didn't even ask for a date that would be good for me, just went ahead and booked it for me. So, I'm trying to get my money back and share this horrible scam to the world! Please contact me for assistance.
