Secret hotel - Flight & Hotel Reservation

I booked a secrtet hotel fully intending to use it today in rhode island. Big problem, hurricane area. I can't get money back or credit. Do not feel thats right especially when weather is involved. They are evacuating many places there. My daughters college wont let her move in. What am i supposed to do. To top it off I recieved a letter saying travelocity would work with me. I do not feel that is true. I would have been glad with a credit since we have to go up eventually again.
