Hotel room in Middletown smaller than bid and no credit given

What we bid for is not what we received. We bid for a hotel room on Goat Island in Newport Rhode Island for my wife's birthday getaway in late December. Our bid was $80 per night for 3 nights. What we received was a small cramped room in the Newport Beach Hotel And Suites in Middletown, RI. The retail room rate was only $47 per night. We requested a room change. The second room was no different than the first one. We were very unsatisfied with the accommodations. We were ripped off by Priceline.com. We will never use them again. There are a lot of other choices with better service. After returning home and contacting customer service for some kind of credit, we were refused any kind of restitution. In other words, tough luck sucker. We will never use Priceline.com again.
Damage Resulting = We were overcharged for the accommodations. The room was small and moving around the room was difficult. There was no desk or writing table. There was no room to sit and relax. Only one chair was provided so the only place to sit and relax was the bed. Our getaway/vacation was severely compromised.
