Problems with reserving

We reserved a u-haul a month in advance.
I gave my credit card number, and they immediately sent me an email confirmation.
Someone called me an hour lager from the "local"place where I would pick up. It was different than the place in the confirmation. They were not able to give me the equipment for the time I needed it and gave us only a small window of time that we could use it. I was PROMISED 24 hours, and we cannot start our move until late in the day. This will not at all work for us, so now we are scrambling for finding an affordable way to move! NEVER NEVER use them!!! I better not be charged a cancelletion fee as I was told I had until 24 hours before without charge.
