Uhaul
Ripoff loses my truck

A word to the wise... If you are thinking about moving I recommend (along with many other people) you do not have anything to do with Uhaul (or "screw-haul"). During my move last year, I reserved a truck from them over the internet two entire months before it was time to move. On the day I was supposed to get my uhaul (which was the last day of the month), they did not have a truck for me.in fact, they had trouble finding my actual reservation. I was absolutely horrified!

Finally after about an hour on the phone they had found a truck for me (or I thought). I called that destination and they said they did not have any trucks there and weren't planning on having one any time soon. After much arguing with the Uhaul customer service rep, I finally had a truck.

Unfortunatly at this time I was WAY behind schedule. I didn't get my Uhaul until almost 5 P.M. That day, and I had to be out by the next day! Needless to say I did move, but it was so stressful. I am actually planning on moving once again, but this time I am trying Penske. They gave me such a great rate, if I would have went with Uhaul again I would have had to pay almost triple that their rate. Penske was super nice and is even going to send a moving package with the EXACT location of the pick up (they don't do that "preference only" business). If you happen to know anyone who is moving definitely recommend Penske.
