Cancel Reservations

Spoke with manager who made the reservation, advised him may have to amend/cancel due to circumstances. Manager told me no problem. On the reservation day, a major rain storm hit McAllen, Tx, spent several hours trying to negotiate traffic to motel. Unable. Called, canceled reservation. Two day bill of $97.16 billed to my Visa. Called and clerks said no note anywhere found of the transaction. Manager was to return my call. Never heard from him. Finally able to talk to manager. Said ok to negate charge, but charge remained on Visa. Challenged the charge through Visa. Visa unable to deal in my behalf. At no time was there a mention of 48 hours notice for cancellation, regardless of conversation with manager of unusual circumstances with registration...
