Ripoff Would not let me bring pets into room and would not let me canel reservation Memphis Tennessee

On 11/24/04 I had a reservation at the Super 8 Motel mentioned above. When I arrived there were several signs stating NO PETS. The reservation had been made on line and there was no mention of the NO PETS policy on the web site.

I have frequently stayed at Super 8 Motels with my pets and never had a problem until now.

When the innkeeper insisted that I could not bring the pets into the motel, I asked that the reservation be canceled. He refused to cancel the reservation because he said it was too late. The motel was essentially empty, so he had not turned anyone away.

Fortunately, I was able to go next door to a Motel 6 that did not object to my pets.

I am angry that I was charged $57.40 for a room that I did not occupy.
