Jetflights
Airline ticket ripoff, scam & fraud Somewhere In Eastern

Traveling & Tourism

Jetflights.net is a spoof booking service for Qantas flights. They advertise in universities and internet cafes and actually use code from qantas.com to make their sucker's believe they are dealing with reputable company associated with Qantas.

How the scam works:
Jetflights uses the qantas.com code to allow the sucker to lookup flight information and make a "booking" The information just goes to an e-mail address which is then picked up by the evil buggers behind this scam.

They don't use credit card, cheque or money order. You have to make a direct payment into their bank account.

They then make a booking on qantas.com using the passenger details, and a dodgy credit card, so that the sucker can see their booking at qantas.com. They send these details to the sucker via an e-mail stating that they have an e-ticket.

A few days later, they cancel the booking leaving the sucker out of pocket and with Qantas left to explain that they do not have a booking at all. This usually happens when the sucker comes to the airport to get on the flight they think they are going on.

Qantas has nothing to do with Jetflights.

Jetflights are under investigation by the Australian Federal Police working with overseas police forces.
