Priceline refused to fix their mistake and charged an additional $704 to rebook ticket Wichita, KANSAS

I discovered my airline ticket purchased from priceline was routed backwards. I called to inform them and seek a corrected ticket. Unfortunately after being placed on hold for over three hours and dealing with very smug reps, I was told the only way to fix the problem was accept an additional charge of $704. This made my airline ticket a whopping total of $1169!

I pleaded my case this was not the routing or ticket I purchased but they wouldn't listen and refused to accept responsibility to correct the proble. The reps seemed to take great plaesure in stated, "Thank you for your patience Mr. Clark." As the call progressed it was obvious they would not make it right.

When asked if I wanted to make corrections to the ticket, I told them I had no choice because I was buying the tickets to go see my fiance for Christmas. With a I could care less attitude the rep said, "I am truly sorry for your trouble." It was as if I was talking to a mindless robot without sympathy or compassion. This angered me greatly as any extra money in this day was supposed to buy gifts for my daughter and family.

I let her know that was a crumby thing to say and for priceline to be taking advantage of me in my situation when it was their mistake to begin with. She replied with, " I'm sorry you feel that way Mr. Clark." How else am I supposed to feel. Priceline is a ripoff! Spread the word, blog, write the newspapers, report them, and tell your friends never to use their services! They are a scam!
