Big time liars and thiefs

I was called by this company after entering a draw at a outdoor show. I assumed they were the real deal and looked legitimate until I started looking into thier activities. They asked for my information over the phone, and being fool that I am I gave it to them.

But when I started reading up I found this website and did not like the information I found here. When on the phone with the representatives I asked several times if i could cancel and they agreed and informed all money would be refunded. I called back a couple of hours later to cancel and they said that they could not cancel it due to it being already booked with my credit card.

After being hung up on, calling back and trying to calmly argue my point they said they would "honor" my cancellation and refund my money, but that it was not thier usual practice.

I really think that companies like this should be shut out. They take people's hard earned money and don't give them any real confirmation of whether or not it is real. If they were real I may have missed out on the chance of a lifetime, but I'm gladly trading that in for the security of knowing I still have my money. That is assuming they did refund my money... Update on this later...
