Recent flight with pet on Delta was stupendous - Pet transportation

We needed to fly a short haul with our dog along for the ride. She is too big for carry on and so needed to travel beneath the plane. We were very nervous about putting her on the plane but the people at Delta were so exceptionally nice and helpful from the skycap outside the airport helping us with our huge bags and the dog and the kennel to the check in counter and special handlers for animals. Delta makes an effort to make pet owners feel comfotable. We were impressed and the cost of flying the dog was very reasonable.
