Wish I knew then what I know now: Priceline major ripoff

I was attempting to get a deal on some hotel rooms at Priceline. I had made a number of very low offers which had been rejected, no problem, but then a notice popped up to say that if I only bid $22 more a hotel would be willing to accept my offer. So of course, expecting a great deal I put in the bid but then found out that my winning bid was only $3 lower that the same room would have been on the hotels web site, without all the restrictions from Priceline.

Feeling that I had been misled by Priceline into making the contract. I contacted Ryan Phillabaum of Priceline.com executive offices (what do you think is that name for real? I mean executive offices give me a break). Mr Phillabaum explained to me why my bid could not be cancelled for the hotel reservation I made because of the "deeply discounted" prices of their travel partners and of course that I had initialled a binding contract.

So buyer beware, Priceline takes no responsibility in leading you on just so they can get you to make an offer that someone will accept even when it is no deal for you.
