Ripoff travellers to Morocco ripoff

I needed to purchase 4 tickets to Morocco so I called Four Seasons International Travel (washington, DC.) The reservationist Fatima Khalid quoted me 1,200/ person USD including all taxes. Khalid stressed that the plane was almost full for the period I was travelling. I gave her my credit card but asked her not to issue the tickets yet as I needed to confirm with my spouse.

I told her that sevral times. She assured me that she would hold the reservation for 48 hours and I can call her back the next day with my final decision. As I discussed the matter with my spouse over dinner, I was chocked to find out that my spouse found Royal Air Maroc tickets 150/person cheaper and There were plenty of seats.

The next day, I called Fatima Khalid at the Four Seasons Travel Agency and politely asked her to cancel our reservations as our plans have changed. She replied that the tickets were non refundable and there were 250 USD penalty to change dates. I then told her that we do not wish to purchase the tickets from her as we found much cheaper elsewhere. She got upset and told me that she already issued the tickets! I was very clear that she needed to book the tickets but not issue them until I call her back the next day to confirm. She then had me talk to her manager a certain Joe. I explained the situation to him and he was one of the most arrogant and rude people. He started making racist remarks about "how customers from thirld world countries are a pain in the neck etc."

WHen I told them that I would contact my Credit card company and file a complaint for fraudulent unauthorized charges and if necessary take the matter to court. That is when I was put on an endless hold. I hangued up and kept calling them back. Finally at the end of the day around 4:45 pm that I was told that the tickets would be voided. Overpriced tickets I actually never purchased! I only asked Fatima Khalid to hold the resrvations for 24 hours which is a very common thing to ask when you buy airlines tickets! I aksed friend around from the Moroccan community in the D. C area that is when I was told by many to avoid doing business with Fatima Khalid and Four Seasons International Travel Washington, DC.
