Hold up on refund for trip the agency cancelled

Excellent Adventures advertised a bus trip to Chicago scheduled for January 14. A payment for two was mailed in the form of a check in the amount of 330.00. I was notified that the trip was cancelled and asked if I wanted a refund sent or to leave the money on account for a possible rescheduling in April.

I requested a refund and was told it would be mailed within a few days back in mid December. When calling to inquire about the refund on January 3rd, I was given the run around, cut-off when transferred and when I called back told I would receive it in a few days.

I'm still waiting. It appears that the agency purposely delays refunds for their financial gain.
