Adventures Await, Chincoteague Sunset Splendor (Pam Sottosanti, owner) rip-off! Pam refused to refund $470.00!

Good faith deposit in the amount of $470.00 was made to Pam Sottosanti, owner of Adventures Await and the home on Chincoteague Island, Virginia, on March 11. No lease agreement was required or signed. No cancellation information was disclosed prior to sending deposit. No cancellation information was disclosed on the Adventures Await website.

However, after making a reasonable 60 day cancellation in writing via email communication on May 24; the company, Adventures Await, and it's owner, Pam Sottosant, has not indicated intention to or made a deposit refund amount and a date to expect such.

On the contrary, the explanation given for not returning a deposit as of this date was because

Also, Mrs. Sottosanti and Adventures Await further evaded a formal inquiry for such deposit refund through the Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce. She only stated that she did not mean to be evasive. Still, no indication of a deposit refund or date to expect such. I reference my phone call communication with the director of Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce on this date.

That is not only unprofessional and unethical business practice but is unacceptable.

Pam Sottosanti and Adventures Await has not only benefited from our good faith deposit but has also ruined any chance of this family and our many friends to ever visit Chincoteague Island or the Luray Virginia homes she owns and rents. We will never recommend this business to anyone regardless of the outcome of this communication.

I hereby make demand for a full refund of my deposit in the amount of $470.00 to be in my hand within 10 days.
