Gugshop Vacations
Ripoffed my money with no return

I purchased an 8 day/7 night trip to Maui Hawaii for $1799 from gugshop vacations. The ad as well as the representative said, No Additional Charges. Later I got an e-mail from them stating I would be hearing from the travel agent shortly and that there was an additional $700 charge that they did not know about that had to be paid up front before reservations could be made.

I e-mailed them back and told them to either honor the original agreement of No Additional Charges, or refund my money in full. They responded saying they would refund my money minusshipping & Handling fees, Certificte fees, and Cancellation fees.

I received a check from them for $1703.$96 short of full refund. I cashed the check at my bank and 5 days later they withdrew the money from my checking account, severely overdrawing my account, saying the check had bounced. I am stuck as I can't afford a lawyer to sue them.

Buyer beware!!!
Their internet ad has not changed one bit since they learned of this new charge. They said it was a charge for all condos outside the continental US. Their ad still is the same and does not reflect this information at all.
