We booked the ticket with CheapOair to Rome from Stansted. There was no information provided at the time of reservation about the online check-in policy. Just a few hours before our flight, I received an email from CheapOair mentioning "Beat the lines at the airport by checking in online! You can even print out your boarding pass for faster access." Nowhere in this message could anyone understand that if you do not check in online, you have to buy a new ticket, and that is exactly what happened to us.
I was at a wedding the night before our flight and thought of checking in at the counter, as I did not have access to a computer. When we got to the airport, Ryanair made us buy 2 more tickets for us to continue on our holiday. I am very disappointed and will never hope to fly with Ryanair again.
