Missed Flight After Wrong Boarding Pass Stamp at Stansted

We arrived at Stansted airport 2 hours before the flight departure to Lourdes, France. We had to queue up to have the boarding passes stamped. A very rude woman took all the boarding passes and stamped one of the return boarding passes in error.

When they spotted the mistake at security, we were told to go back to the counter to get the right one stamped. By the time we got back to security and underwent all the checks, we ended up missing the flight. We had to pay another 342 pounds to get another flight to an alternate destination.

Thus I spent 55 pounds to get to Gatwick airport to catch a flight to Toulouse. Then a bus, a train and a taxi from Toulouse to Lourdes, France, cost 71 euros.
