My daughter, away at college, bought a ticket for a trip home. She selected Will call for ticket delivery. When she arrived at midnight for her 1 am departure, she was told the Will Call office was closed until 7 am. Phone calls assured us that she could use her confirmation number to make it to the next major station, where she could obtain her ticket. When bus arrived, twelve people were waiting to board. But there were NO seats on the bus! She was told the next bus would depart at 7:30 but that only one seat was available for the twelve tickets. However, we had been told earlier that evening that seats were available on the it turns out, full bus. And that the next bus at 10 am So we opted to drive 9 hours round trip to pick her up and return her home. When I called to discuss this with Greyhound, they informed me that they could not speak to me without her authorization. So I handed the phone to her. They told her they could not speak to her either, unless she INITIATED the call. Please call back and go through the process and que again. SERIOUSLY? So she did and I was able to speak to them. They informed me that they do not do refunds and that in the case of overbooking, which is stated on their website, they would send another bus.in this case, when? Two days later? The truth is, they know they are overselling their busses and still taking your money which they have no intention of refunding. NEVER EVER trust this morally bankrupt and criminal company. They are here for one thing only: To take your money.
