Greyhound Bus
Greyhound bus screwed us!

So my mother-in law and 2 nieces took the greyhound from California to Arizona and had no problems what so ever. Going home however was a disaster. I will never ever recommend greyhound to anyone! So tickets going back were for 12:30pm and the 3 of them arrived at 12. Like it says, arrive a half hour before. So when they were getting ready to board, there was not enough room for all three to sit together. My husband was told sorry, the 8 year olds have to sit with a stranger for 8 hours. What the hell! Since when would anyone ever split up kids on a bus for 8 hours? So the guy tells my husband sorry first come first serve. No where on the ticket does it say first come first serve. They said next bus leaves at 3pm. So now they are expected to sit there and wait 3 hours to catch the next bus??? My husband went to speak with a manager and do you think they cared? Not at all. They said sorry there is nothing we can do. Well greyhound needs to make things more clear. So now we paid almost 200 dollars for tickets and now my husband has to spend 200 more to drive them back to California because greyhound screwed us. Yes it was the cheapest way to get here, but I would rather pay a little more next time to fly and be guaranteed a seat!
