Ten years as a customer, consistent problems - Greyhound NYC to BOS Service

I have been using Greyhound for nearly ten years to get back and forth between Boston and New Jersey, and unfortunately the good experiences have been just as frequent as the bad ones. As a member of the Road Rewards program, I find that I am never able to use my 10% or 15% discount online. Every time I attempt to use it, I get a message along the lines of "discount cannot be applied to this fare." Most recently I was in NY Port Authority and printed my ticket from Will Call. The ticket must have dropped from my hand in the two minutes it took to get from the WC area to gate 84 to Boston. I understand the policy for lost tickets, but as it had been less than five minutes from the time I picked it up, and clearly no one by nae name had gotten on the bus, I was hoping for a little help. I was passed off to three different lines (info booth to customer service, to security) and finally forced to purchase a new ticket for $50. I have been loyal to Greyhound for a long time, but when I was in tears and about to miss my bus, very little help was given and no one seemed to care. Traveling is stressful, and all of the employees seemed eager to pass me off to someone else. There has to be some way to reprint a lost ticket. With bar codes and IDs, it should be possible to help someone in my situation out, as I am sure it happens frequently. For now, I think this may be my last trip on Greyhound. The drivers are excellent, but the company as a whole is quite difficult to deal with, especially when trying to call customer service. For the same price or less, there are better options to get between cities.
