Charged me a $450 disconnet fee

I recently changed from Birch Communications to AT&T since AT&T offered me exactly the same cost as Birch, BUT include free web, preserving me $50 monthly. Birch is attempting to cost me a $450 termination charge. I'm battling it but however others ought to know what they are doing. They state their costs are legitimate however it appears to me that they're simply angry and need to obtain back at me. The consultant all-but accepted in my experience they were upset that I'd changed companies which was my abuse for making them. I told them-they couldn't keep me hostage.
