Original contract and mailed contract on cancelation added info and charges

I had joined club fit not long after it opened here in terre haute. I attended almost everyday at least 5 days a week for at least a year if not a little more. When i called them and told them that i wanted to cancel my membership due to not using their facilities hardly ever they said okay.

A few days later i recieved in the mail their copy of the contract that i had signed and a bill for canceling the contract early. I got my copy of the contract out and they did not match.

They had filled in some of the information at some point in time after i had signed and had my copy of the contract. I called them and they wouldn't change their minds about me owing the money.

I made a copy of my copy, took it and the one they had sent and my original copy to the club and told the girl there that i was not paying one more dime. That their copy and my copy did not match, that someone had added information without my knowledge.

They took my copy and a copy of the one they sent me. I kept the original of mine and the one they sent. I heard nothing more from them.
