Not enough words to describe the rip off!

I am just devastated by the whole thing, I just recently found out about this web site and I am sooooo glad I did. I first heard about Starbiz on a radio commercial. I called, to set an appointment for my daughter. I took her on a Saturday for an audition, they told us to call back Monday at noon. So I guess who ever called back got sucked into their scam (like me). I was told to bring my daughter back because she was "chosen" for the TV program "Front Row Center."

We met with Melette she told me that my daughter read very well and could get LARGE speaking parts in the show, but could use some acting and modeling classes, which they offer for a cost. "For $1,500.00, she can get 5 acting classes, 3 modeling classes, a photo shoot, and appear on 3 eposides."

So being that my daughter wanted this with all her heart, I went ahead and paid the money. To make a long story short, my daughter got a one-line speaking part in ALL 3 episodes, one photo shoot in the office by Bruce's girlfriend with her digital camera. Her photo did not turn out too well due to some "printing problem."

When she went for her taping for the shows, she was told to come with no make-up, hair just washed, and that there would be a make-up and hair artist there. After she was done filing, and I came to pick her up, she was in tears. They had filmed her the same way she came there looking. No make-up artist, no nothing. We asked time and time again for her portfolio, and no one returned our calls or emails. It has now been one year this month, and my daughter has had no contact from any agency dealing with Starbiz Entertainment.
