I purchased an item, and was seeing results until it blew up in my
hand. Literally. I was past the 60 day return, however, I expected to be
compensated in some way. Not because the product was no good, but
because it blew up and scared the crap out of me. I do not return often, most of the time I just throw out the item if I do not see results or if I do not like it.

This was my first response:

Unfortunately, your return was beyond the 60 day money back guarantee. We will not be able to provide a refund for this item. You have two options at this point; either leave the item with us and we will dispose of it or have the item sent back to you at a cost of $15.00.

After a lot of F'n around with the customer service staff and getting nowhere,
My reply:

I was looking at my visa statement and noticed that the installments were still coming out of my account after I returned this piece of crap. I don't mind paying the installments while I had it, but it was defective and I expected the remainder of my installments to be null and void, at least a show of good faith on they're part. 15 years of shopping with tsc, there won't be anymore.

In the end, the final response I got from TSC was the generated crap that is sent to everyone:

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience that you have endured.
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund you for the item you sent back. This item was received past our return policy guidelines.in addition, the item has been disposed of since you did not contact us to re-send your item.
We do apologize for this unfortunate situation. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
