I purchased an item from a seller on Etsy. The item was not what I expected to I asked the seller if I could return the item. There are no return instructions online so I sent the item to the Etsy office in Brooklyn. I did not hear anything for several days even though I had tracking information that it had been received. Finally I called and was advised that they do not accept returns at that location and that I needed to return the item directly to the seller. I asked if they could just forward it to the seller and I was abruptly told "NO", the item would be returned to me for me to forward. Two weeks later, I still don't have the item from Etsy. I e-mailed customer service only to get the response that "they were sorry, the item would be mailed today". Again, I asked if could just be forwarded to the seller - same postage - same time. Besides, they were the ones that delayed the shipping for two weeks. Needless to say we are two weeks later and I have not yet received the item from Etsy. I will NEVER, EVER use this site again and I warn you not to do the same...
