Bait and switch

A sales rep from Living Social came into my business. He was a great guy and very professional. We were very hesitant to do the deal with Living Social since we had to offer our service at half off then Living Social takes 50% of the sale. After a long conversation, we decided it would help our business attract new clients at a slow time of the year (Jan and Feb). We made an agreement to launch in the first week of January on Living Social... Or so we thought. I received emails from Living Social to set up our marketing and create our ad space. Next thing I know, our deal is being run on Amazonlocal.com. Apparently, since Amazon has invested/partnered with Living Social, you run your deal with them first, then Living Social 8 weeks later. Our response from the Amazon Local deal was disappointing to say the least. I did not ever hear the word Amazon from my sales rep. I never agreed to be on Amazonlocal. When I asked questions to my sales reps boss, he was rude and dismissive. I heard from his boss, who while nice, has still not followed up with me 3 weeks later. The worse part is I still haven't got paid for the deals we sold a month ago!!!
